Professionals Auto Body captured the Altoona Teener Major League championship Thursday night, thanks to a 10-0 win in six innings over M&T Bank at Seitz Field.
The game was 0-0 until PAB scored nine runs in the top of the fifth inning. Winning pitcher Brady Steiner had two hits and two RBIs, while finishing with five strikeouts and only one walk. He gave up four hits.
PAB also got two hits each from Aden Diehl, Noah Hillard and Cody Webster. Teammates Caden Gibbons, Parker Crownover, Alec Strawmier, Lex Dixon and Hillard added solo RBI efforts.
Despite taking the loss, M&T pitcher Andrew Berkheimer totaled seven strikeouts and only one walk.

Teener Minor
Home Instead broke open a close game with 10 runs in the sixth inning Thursday night en route to a 12-1 win over Cumming Motors in six innings for the Altoona Teener Minor League title at Seitz Field.
Home Instead won the best-of-3 series, 2-0.
The winners, who led 2-1 before the outburst, got two hits each from Adam Loucks, Conner Waite and Nate Phillips. Waite had three RBIs to go with two from Loucks. Jackson Boob, Bronson Myers and Tyler Rogers each had a solo RBI.
Waite, the winning pitcher, struck out eight.
Nick Dunmire had two hits for Cumming. Teammate Ethan Donlan drove in the lone run.

Stuff the truck
The Altoona entries in the Babe Ruth League World Series will hold a free car wash & stuff the truck event on Saturday from noon-3 p.m. at Stuckey Automotive Collision Center in Duncansville.
The U13 team is headed to Virginia while the 16-18 team is headed to Missouri for the national events. The teams are holding the event to help defray costs for trips. Both teams will be there to wash cars.
They will be accepting donations to stuff the truck with cases of water, Gatorade, boxes of snacks, protein bars, fruit snacks, etc. These items will be sent with the teams when they leave for their destinations in a few weeks.
Both teams compete under the Altoona Area Teener Baseball League.
